A number of permanent exhibits are housed here, these are Grafton-based and include such items as fire-fighting equipment, tools, textiles, Civil War memorabilia, historical documents, and much more. The Vermont Museum of Mining and Minerals + My Favorites
This museum hosts exhibits of the Vermont state gem, rock and minerals that have contributed to Vermont’s economic history and plus minerals from around the world. There is a miniature village made of marble, slate and granite. Open June through October, on weekends from 10am to 12am and 1pm to 4pm.
