Moosalamoo National Recreation Area

The Moosalamoo National Recreation Area in central Vermont contains 7,250 acres (2,933 ha), predominantly of hilly, wooded terrain and several prominent peaks and lookout points. Named for the area's highest peak, Mount Moosalamoo at 2,640 ft (804 m), the wilderness area offers a network of trails for hiking, lakes and streams for excellent trout fishing and rare biological features for bird and wildlife watching.
