This historic home outside of Manchester, VT, was built by Robert Todd Lincoln, son of President Lincoln, as a summer home. It eventually became the only house occupied by all of Abraham Lincoln's descendents. Until 1975, the home was occupied by a great-grandaughter of Abraham Lincoln. The stately home, set on many acres, with large formal gardens, has been taken over by the "Friends of Hildene". Tours are available.

President Calvin Coolidge State Historic Site The 30th president of the United States, Calvin Coolidge, was born in the town of Plymouth Notch, Vermont. This village as well as the boyhood home of the president has been carefully preserved and stands today, as it once was. Many other of the original buildings of the town have been preserved as well.
Visit the Coolidge Homestead furnished just as it was in 1923. There's an onsite Visitor's Center as well built to honor the centennial of Coolidge's birth.
Plymouth Notch is just a short twenty minute drive outside of Rutland, VT.

The Bennington Battle Monument This historic monument was the site where the American Flag was first carried in battle. It is the site of a signifcant battle, in the American Revolution, that turned the tide of the Revolution. Address: Off Vt Route 9 - Old Bennington Bennington, VT

Park-McCullough Historic House This 1865, Second Empire "summer cottage", is one of the finest Victorian Mansions in New England. Home to two Vermont Governors, it's 35 rooms retain many original furnishings. Grounds include: scale model playhouse,carriage barn with carriage collection, gardens, and glasshouse grapery.
